2. What data we collect

We collect data in two ways:

Analytics: We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to collect usage data (pages visited, time on site, general location, behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay). This data is collected via first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to help us understand how visitors use the site and to improve our services. This data is processed by Google and Microsoft in the United States.
Calculator form: When you submit the cost calculator, we collect your name, organization, and email address to send you the requested report. This data is shared with our email service provider, Resend, acting as our processor solely to deliver the report, and is not sold or shared for any other purpose.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, which may set cookies on your device. Google's privacy policy applies to data collected through their service. GA4 retains this data for 14 months before automatic deletion. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Microsoft Clarity

We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve our services. Clarity is configured to run without cookies on this site, so recordings aren't linked across page views. Session data is retained by Microsoft Clarity for approximately 30 days. 6. Cookies we use

This site sets one cookie: Google Analytics's _ga / _ga_<id>, used for visitor identification. Microsoft Clarity is configured to run without cookies.

7. Data retention

Form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to manage our client relationships. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@fractionaldataengineer.com.
